Movember Man Files
A cause very close to my heart is Movember. I had a chat with the team at Movember HQ about my dad, men's health, and the importance of conversations about your health

You can view my Movember Man Files clip here
My clip is obviously about my dad's story and coping with his diagnosis of prostate cancer and subsequent passing. You can also have a look at the other case studies - Nick Bracks on mental health and James Franklin on testicular cancer.

International Women's Forum - Women Athlete's Business Network Mentoring Program
A nice little article featured on the Queensland Academy of Sport website about my selection into the IWF below.
We love celebrating good news about past athletes and their lives beyond competition!
Champion Water Polo Olympian Jane Moran has leapt out of the pool into professional life as a Transport Engineer for major firm Aurecon. Recently, Jane was selected as a mentee in the exclusive Women Athlete's Business Network Mentoring Program, run by the Internatinal Women's Forum.
The WABN Mentoring Progra...m is designed to harness the untapped leadership potential of female athletes after their retirement from sport. Each year, 25 elite women athletes, who have transitioned or are in the process of transitioning from a career in sport, are chosen and matched with prominent women business leaders from the IWF membership.
We look forward to following Jane's career progress. See More

Match Day Burger - Brisbane Barracudas v. Queensland Breakers
A fantastic outsiders point of view article on the heated exchange between the Barras and the Breakers on the weekend. It might take a while to get past the chicken inferences.

A bit of Easter fun
We were invited by some wonderful family friends to holiday on Russell Island for the Easter long weekend. We were joined by Chloe who returned early from her Under 18 National Water Polo championship with less of a finger than she left with...it got slammed in a door at her hotel, cue emergency surgery, removing some bone and being left with a beautiful stub of a ring finger...we still love her. Anyway, I digress. We headed to Jumpinpin on the northern tip of South Stradbroke Island, where Chloe's younger brother decided it would be hilarious to throw soldier crabs down our bikinis... cue sweet sweet revenge **the drink bottle is filled with soldier crabs
