National League finals - radio appearance

Carol Wical of BayFM in Brisbane interviewed me prior to the final round of the National League this past weekend.  We discussed the upcoming games against the Queensland Breakers and the week ahead of National League Finals in Brisbane.

A bit of Easter fun

We were invited by some wonderful family friends to holiday on Russell Island for the Easter long weekend. We were joined by Chloe who returned early from her Under 18 National Water Polo championship with less of a finger than she left with...it got slammed in a door at her hotel, cue emergency surgery, removing some bone and being left with a beautiful stub of a ring finger...we still love her. Anyway, I digress. We headed to Jumpinpin on the northern tip of South Stradbroke Island, where Chloe's younger brother decided it would be hilarious to throw soldier crabs down our bikinis... cue sweet sweet revenge **the drink bottle is filled with soldier crabs

I S'port Rob & Locky

As a member of Water Polo Australia's Athletes Commission I would like to encourage you to have a look at our 'Team Bus' for the "I S'port Rob & Locky" campaign - we are right behind Rob Maitland and Lachlan Hollis in their battles against cancer. As athletes at the top of their game - Rob representing Australia at the Beijing Olympics and Locky having also represented Australia at senior level, it is shocking for us to learn that they are going through something bigger than we could ever imagine.

Barras successful Sydney road trip

We have just returned from an exhausting National League road trip and managed to put 4 wins from 4 games on the board.  We played at the iconic Dawn Fraser Baths in Balmain - a tidal pool in Sydney Harbour.
